La Loma Tranquila is a charming retreat located 4000 feet in the mountains which overlook the Central Valley region of Costa Rica. Our goal is to provide a mountain side experience for our guest by offering them a tranquil and natural location to gather, to grow and to reflect on the more profound elements of life. We strive to create a beautiful retreat where minds can be rested, hearts can be refreshed and relationships can be rejuvenated.
It is our pleasure to host different faith based organizations, schools, corporations, families and community groups. From our spectacular views displayed from every room to our large open air decks, we welcome our guest with a warm heartful of hospitality and look forward to seeing each of you as you return again and again. Each morning you will wake up to a great continental breakfast with fresh coffee! Enjoy your meal while you watch the beautiful scenery in the valley below. Take a walk through the coffee plantations or just sit on our decks and enjoy the breathtaking views. Enjoy the spectaular night, watching the millions of twinkling lights of San Jose from your private room, open air decks, or around the pool.
As Americans we have come to love the country of Costa Rica. Costa Rica offers various activity levels providing opportunities for everyone. Tours to local attractions are available for the most active explorer of the rain forest, to the less strenuous stroll through the gardens and cathedrals. Costa Rica has so much natural beauty that just a ride through the mountain side provides an enjoyable view of the peaceful slow life Costa Rica has to offer. Our goal is to provide a reasonably priced clean B&B with quiet rooms. We offer a very secure facility with staff that will make sure that your stay is a comfortable one.
